A collection of statutes governing the Scottish legal profession, which collection includes: 'Act of sederunt regulating the admission of agents, ..', 1772, and 'Act for appointing advocates, writers, and agents for poor persons who have causes to pursue, ..', 1784, the statutes laid down by the Lords of Council and Session.
The final page contains a 'List of the Society of solicitors of the Court of Session and other supreme courts of Scotland, instituted 12th January 1784', the same society being responsible for the issue of this pamphlet.
