In which are laid down rules for writing and pronouncing with propriety and elegance. The words are accurately accented according to the true pronunciation in present practice with men of letters, eminent orators, and polite speakers wherein each part of speech is properly distinguished; and thier various significations ranced in one line; so that the eye will take in at a single view every thing necessary for understanding, pronouncing, and spelling the words sought for, to render this spelling dictionary cheap, concise, and protable; such words are omitted as being neither properly English, or used in good authors, which serve only to mislead and embarrass the purchaser.
