Note
Heard before the House of Lords: "Friday the 8th day of February 1721/2" (docket title).
Signed: Rob. Dundas. C. Talbot.
Apparently the work entered in the records of William Bowyer at 5 & 6 February 1723, a total of 430 copies printed for Alexander Hamilton.
Friday, the 8 February in fact fell in 1723, which is consistent with the entry in the Bowyer ledgers and with David Robertson, "Reports of cases on appeal from Scotland, decided in the House of Peers", v.1, London, 1807, which records the judgment as being rendered 11 Feb. 1722/23.
Brace(s) in title or imprint.
Reproduction of original from British Library.
