Variously attributed. Junius is the pseudonymous author of a series of letters that appeared in the "Public advertiser" Jan. 1769-Jan. 1772, attacking among others the Duke of Grafton, Lord Mansfield, and George III. He is generally thought to have been Sir Philip Francis--Oxford Companion to English Literature, 4th ed., p. 440
