The last page contains an address to the reader in which Bowen gibes at the almanac of Nathaniel Whittemore for 1724 (the edition printed by Bartholomew Green). Though he does not name Whittemore, the object of his comments is made apparent by his reference to the advertisement in Whittemore's almanac for medicines to cure the gout, consumption, and other illnesses. The same page in Whittemore's almanac contains comments on other sallies by "the Native" (Bowen) against Whittemore.
