We can call this value alignment among employees (irrespective of their nationality) the creation of company citizenship. We propose that company citizenship can be enhanced when the employees' personal values are in alignment with the values of the corporate culture in a multinational company. Corporate Culture in Multinational Companies examines this issue in the context of a number of Japanese multinational companies from various industrial sectors. This work explores the value component of corporate culture in these companies and their relationship with production efficiency and personal values of the employee, which create motivation. The authors combine both qualitative analysis of the experiences of leaders in these organizations and the most advanced quantitative analysis regarding corporate performance as reflected in the human resources in these organizations."--$$cProvided by publisher. 000716946 588__ $$aDescription based on print version record. 000716946 650_0 $$aCorporate culture$$zJapan. 000716946 650_0 $$aCorporate culture$$vCross-cultural studies. 000716946 650_0 $$aInternational business enterprises$$zJapan. 000716946 7001_ $$aBasu, Dipak R.,$$eauthor. 000716946 77608 $$iPrint version:$$aMiroshnik, Victoria, 1969-$$tCorporate culture in multinational companies.$$dHoundmills, Basingstoke, Hampshire ; New York, NY : Palgrave Macmillan, 2014$$z9781137447647$$w(DLC) 2014024798$$w(OCoLC)883748507 000716946 8520_ $$bacq 000716946 85280 $$bebk$$hSpringerLink 000716946 85640 $$3SpringerLink$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http://link.springer.com/10.1057/9781137447661$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 000716946 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:716946$$pGLOBAL_SET 000716946 980__ $$aEBOOK 000716946 980__ $$aBIB 000716946 982__ $$aEbook 000716946 983__ $$aOnline
