The conference was composed by three co-located conferences: The International Conference on Evolutionary Computation Theory and Applications (ECTA), the International Conference on Fuzzy Computation Theory and Applications (FCTA), and the International Conference on Neural Computation Theory and Applications (NCTA). Recent progresses in scientific developments and applications in these three areas are reported in this book. IJCCI received 210 submissions, from 51 countries, in all continents. After a double blind paper review performed by the Program Committee, 15% were accepted as full papers and thus selected for oral presentation. Additional papers were accepted as short papers and posters. A further selection was made after the Conference, based also on the assessment of presentation quality and audience interest, so that this book includes the extended and revised versions of the very best papers of IJCCI 2014. Commitment to high quality standards is a major concern of IJCCI that will be maintained in the next editions, considering not only the stringent paper acceptance ratios but also the quality of the program committee, keynote lectures, participation level and logistics. 000752870 650_0 $$aComputational intelligence$$vCongresses. 000752870 650_0 $$aEngineering. 000752870 650_0 $$aArtificial intelligence. 000752870 650_0 $$aComputational intelligence. 000752870 7001_ $$aMerelo, Juan Julian.$$eeditor. 000752870 7001_ $$aRosa, Agostinho.$$eeditor. 000752870 7001_ $$aCadenas, José M.$$eeditor. 000752870 7001_ $$aDourado, António.$$eeditor. 000752870 7001_ $$aMadani, Kurosh.$$eeditor. 000752870 7001_ $$aFilipe, Joaquim.$$eeditor. 000752870 77608 $$iPrint version:$$z9783319263915 000752870 830_0 $$aStudies in computational intelligence ;$$v620. 000752870 852__ $$bebk 000752870 85640 $$3SpringerLink$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-319-26393-9$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 000752870 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:752870$$pGLOBAL_SET 000752870 980__ $$aEBOOK 000752870 980__ $$aBIB 000752870 982__ $$aEbook 000752870 983__ $$aOnline 000752870 994__ $$a92$$bISE
