He served as a teacher for twenty years at the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Meknès and is an active academic with several publications. Abdelhamid Ahmed is Curriculum & Instruction Coordinator of the Core Curriculum Program (CCP) at Qatar University. He is experienced in teaching and researching EFL writing as shown in his MEd and PhD, as well as other research publications.
