ICSI 2017 was held in conjunctionwith the Second International Conference on Data Mining and Big Data (DMBD 2017)at Fukuoka, Japan, to share common mutual ideas, promote transverse fusion, and stimulate innovation. ICSI 2017 received 267 submissions from about 512 authors in 35 countries and regions across six continents. Each submission was reviewed by at least two, and on average 2.9 reviewers. Based on rigorous reviews by the Program Committee members and reviewers, 133 high-quality papers were selected for publication in this proceedings volume, with an acceptance rate of 49.81%. The papers are organized in 24 cohesive sections covering all major topics of swarm intelligence and computational intelligence research and development. 000796385 588__ $$aOnline resource; title from PDF title page (SpringerLink, viewed July 21, 2017). 000796385 650_0 $$aSwarm intelligence$$vCongresses. 000796385 7001_ $$aTan, Ying,$$d1964-$$eeditor. 000796385 7001_ $$aShi, Yuhui,$$eeditor. 000796385 7001_ $$aTakagi, Hideyuki,$$eeditor. 000796385 7001_ $$aNiu, Ben,$$eeditor. 000796385 830_0 $$aLecture notes in computer science ;$$v10386. 000796385 830_0 $$aLNCS sublibrary.$$nSL 1,$$pTheoretical computer science and general issues. 000796385 852__ $$bebk 000796385 85640 $$3SpringerLink$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-319-61833-3$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 000796385 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:796385$$pGLOBAL_SET 000796385 980__ $$aEBOOK 000796385 980__ $$aBIB 000796385 982__ $$aEbook 000796385 983__ $$aOnline 000796385 994__ $$a92$$bISE
