Friends wishing to sign it are invited to call; those at a distance will please send their signatures on a slip of thin paper, to be pasted in the book. ... And with your name for the Declaration of rights, please do not fail to send a contribution, a dollar, or at least enough to equal the cost of the paper, the printing and posting of the documents you so gladly receive from us.
