In spite of such an accomplishment, the current economic growth model in China, which is mainly triggered by the export-led policy and the huge government investment, has been challenged by potential external and internal risks, which do not support sustainable economic growth in the long run. In this book, we comprehensively review the corporate governance practices in China, based on which we try to identify the major problems within such practices. We contend that these problems have been seen as the major challenges facing the Chinese economy, and we further argue that the current weakness of corporate governance practices in China can be ascribed, to a great extent, to the incompleteness and weakness of law enforcement. 000841714 588__ $$aTitle from PDF title page (viewed on July 24, 2015). 000841714 650_0 $$aCorporate governance$$zChina. 000841714 653__ $$aChina 000841714 653__ $$acorporate governance 000841714 653__ $$aexternal governance mechanisms 000841714 653__ $$ainternal governance mechanisms 000841714 653__ $$alaw enforcement 000841714 655_0 $$aElectronic books 000841714 77608 $$iPrint version:$$z9781631572289 000841714 830_0 $$aCorporate governance collection.$$x1948-0415 000841714 852__ $$bebk 000841714 85640 $$3ProQuest Ebook Central Academic Complete $$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://ebookcentral.proquest.com/lib/usiricelib-ebooks/detail.action?docID=2080897$$zOnline Access 000841714 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:841714$$pGLOBAL_SET 000841714 980__ $$aBIB 000841714 980__ $$aEBOOK 000841714 982__ $$aEbook 000841714 983__ $$aOnline
