More precisely, the book contends that there are overlapping natural and cultural cycles which co-exist in a constantly transmuting space-time and which are counterpointed with the linearity of pivotal events that drive the plot forwards. This work examines the psychological relations to these space-time patterns of the characters, principally the heroines, focusing on the transformations of their emotional states which prompt linear leaps. 000844072 588__ $$aOnline resource; title from PDF title page (viewed July 12, 2018) 000844072 60010 $$aAusten, Jane,$$d1775-1817$$xCriticism and interpretation. 000844072 60010 $$aAusten, Jane,$$d1775-1817$$xThemes, motives. 000844072 650_0 $$aWomen and literature$$zEngland$$xHistory$$y19th century. 000844072 650_0 $$aSpace and time in literature. 000844072 77608 $$iPrint version: $$z3319900102$$z9783319900100$$w(OCoLC)1028950933 000844072 852__ $$bebk 000844072 85640 $$3SpringerLink$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-319-90011-7$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 000844072 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:844072$$pGLOBAL_SET 000844072 980__ $$aEBOOK 000844072 980__ $$aBIB 000844072 982__ $$aEbook 000844072 983__ $$aOnline 000844072 994__ $$a92$$bISE
