This text draws on government sources, public opinion surveys, election results, & in-depth interviews with Muslims in the Middle East & around the world to examine barriers to terrorist recruitment, including 'radical sheik,' liberal Islam, revolutionary rivalries, & an inelastic demand for US foreign policy.
